Our approach to teaching

Integrated Islamic & Academic Learning

We follow the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum, ensuring students graduate fully prepared for secondary school. At the same time, our Islamic Studies, Quran, and Arabic programs run alongside every academic subject — never separated, always connected.

Our teaching team is kept private on the public website. Families may ask about instructional approach, classroom support, and Quran/Islamic Studies credentials during admissions or a school tour.

Principal-Led, Staff-Private

Principal Shua Amiri leads the school community. Individual staff names and portraits are intentionally kept off the public website until the school approves them.

Teaching Team

Teachers remain unnamed on the website. Public copy focuses on the school's standards, classroom routines, and parent communication.

Islamic Studies Credentials

Quran and Islamic Studies instruction is supported by sheikhs who have studied at Islamic universities.

School Standards and Compliance Notes

These standards reflect common GTA Islamic school expectations and Ontario private-school operating norms. The family handbook can provide additional detail for enrolled families.

  • Ontario curriculum academics across core elementary subjects, supported by Quran, Arabic, Islamic Studies, and character development.
  • Supervised school day from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with salat observed at its designated time.
  • Respectful adab, modest uniform expectations, punctual attendance, and parent partnership around student conduct.
  • Private handling of admissions, student records, medical information, emergency contacts, and family communications.
  • Field trips, media use, health needs, and student support should be managed through written parent consent where applicable.
  • Family handbook, calendar, admissions details, and staff credential information are shared through approved school communication channels.

Compliance note: Ontario private-school requirements vary by school type and grade level. The site avoids making unverified claims about inspection status, accreditation, or named staff credentials.
